What's one more animal....????

So, my husband and I were dog-sitting this weekend for my mom's dogs while her and my father were away for the weekend. They have two corgis (5 year old and 5 month old). I was worried with the puppy not being fully potty-trained that there were going to be messes galore and that he would be chewing on everything.

But to my wonderful surprise the puppy was almost perfect. He actually was pretty lazy for a puppy (which is great, because on the weekends we tend to be very lazy!). He was actually better on a leash than my 11 year old corgi! (Picture at left shows my dog, Chelsea, and my mom's two dogs, Nutmeg & Rudy(l to r). They get along wonderfully with my laid-back cat, Turk, so the weekend was actually quite enjoyable! I mean, what's one more animal when you already have two that you need to feed and take care of??

It snowed here, so the dogs enjoyed running around outside. I was even able to get a good start on my mother's birthday gift (hint: It's crocheted of course). Will post pictures when I am done. My mother-in-law and mother are getting similar things for their birthdays (or mother's day--I can't decide). It's very exciting!!
